Our Best Sights in Gotland

Smöjen - Located on Gotland’s northeastern coast. A cool spot where you can swim both in a limestone quarry and the sea (rocky beach). The old factory in the limestone quarry adds to the charm. It’s an amazing place! You can also take the opportunity to swing by Lergrav to buy smoked fish for lunch, as it’s relatively close, or stop at Rute Stenugnsbageri for a coffee.

Svarthäll - A beach located near Ihreviken. It’s a hidden gem, about a kilometer long. The shallow waters make it perfect for small children. There are a few dining options nearby.

Sandvikens Strand - A large and wide beach with shallow, warm waters as it’s located in a bay. There’s a campsite right next door where you can buy ice cream and lunch.

Nisseviken - A shallow bathing spot with a sandy beach and a pier, located on southeastern Gotland, about 70 kilometers from Visby. Nisseviken is known for having the warmest water on Gotland.
